Extreme weather.

You know you love it.

Well, it's obviously no fun if someone you love is hurt - or you lose your home - but otherwise ...

I think it's kind of a trip in this day and age to feel some humility in the face of nature's wrath.

Big storm comin'today - I can't wait. smile.gif

One of the coolest experiences I've ever had of "extreme weather" was lighting storm from a 3-story fire tower without probably a single person or building in a twenty mile radius in the middle of Texas.

Live in florida, and recieve alot of hurricanes.

Nothing is more surreal than your entire town literaly shutting down for 3 or 4 days, waiting for the rain to pass over.

Neighbors who never talk instantly become friends - the parties are the best. Its a sad time - but its weird watching people band together for those 3 days - and afterwards they never talk again..haha.

i also love it. 2004 we had a hurricane and a ridiculous blizzard. there is a fine line between fun and scary, sometimes it goes too far but as long as it stays within reason, cant beat it.

Anything over 20 degrees Celsius (68 Fahrenheit) is unnecessary unless you're going swimming.

I got a fucking sunburn just walking home today in 22 C (71 F).

FUCK.

it was really windy here today, but the sun was out so it was still warm. i ended up spending some time finishing my book in the hammock out back. it was very refreshing.

17 degrees Celsius here right now. Sunny and no wind. Awesome! ^_^

See, that is the perfect temperature.

Fuck this frying-egg-on-sidewalk heat.
