EstrangedTWAT 10,790
Miser starts threads about the 90s, now it's people talking in the 60s. OK. Here's a shoe. Here's a unicycle. And here's Frank Langella as Skeletor.
wasted 6,522
Not really because when I was there I didn’t know it was the 90s.

Doctor Dom 1,925
I sort of feel bad for being straight with Miser because he's obviously mentally ill. Not mentally ill in the "cool" way he thinks, but in that unsettling creepy way that makes people get up and sit somewhere else on the train way. I'd say I feel sorry for him, but he sticks his chin out for it.
wasted 6,522
What is strange is the 90s was nostalgic for the 70s.
Frank Drebin 2,278
I do in a way. I got to live a good 10-14 years before the Internet fully kicked in, life wasn't ruled by social media & people with heads buried in mobile phones, I was 5 when 1990 began...I witnessed the birth of TMNT, me & my friends would go out & walk, and just hang out & chase tail and have fun. Tremolo 1,151
Lighten up a bit people. The 90s were a lot of fun, I remember them fondly. I was 8-18 during that decade, so I have lots of experiences and milestones during those years. Fun times. Then the internet came and everything went to shit. Ultimately the decade(s) you grew up and spent your formative years in will be the ones you become nostalgic for. Using this, and just off the top of my head, the 80s had: *WWF *Slasher movie franchises like Friday the 13th and Nightmare On Elm Street *Action movies like Rambo, Predator etc *All the good Stephen King stories *All the good cartoons *Outstanding TV shows like the A Team and Knight Rider *No mobile phones *No internet and no internet know it all faggots like Miser *80s mainstream pop music

wheresizzy 1,657
Wish I was born in the 1990s though. Still have some kickass memories from 2004-2005 as I was born in 2000. I remember no internet, Snake game, riding in old cars w no seatbelt and having toys instead of smartphones and Internet.

sixes unmasked 8,906
One of my fondest 80s memories was wanking hundreds of times to Samantha Fox's Touch Me video. I did it every day before school for a solid 3 months. And I just may do it today for old time's sake

EstrangedTWAT 10,790
This bickering is pointless. No one time or period was any better than any other. My dad still sits around and talks about how awesome the 50s were. The time we remember the most fondly is the time WE WERE YOUNG. We are longing for our YOUTH, that's all. My childhood wasn't awesome because I had Transformers toys, which were cool and all...it was awesome cause I was a CHILD. I do think that something was irreparably fractured after 9-11 though. America has never been the same. Social media and smartphone addiction is bad, but the constant state of fear and anxiety we live with everyday started on 9-11. We are currently living through the genesis of 9-11 part 2. This covid thing is going to destroy what little happiness that exists in the world. As I said before, I feel the worst for families with very young children. This is no world to grow up in.
