Nothing like some pure shit to end 2020 with.

Fuck me that was amazing, please let the tour carry on ASAP... I need a laugh

Seriously though, you'd link 2010 Axl or someone could use the low voice and do a decent job. None of this BLACK HOLE SA-HAHN malarky.

Noob with a couple post on the Gyna

CD and CD era music was great  :headbang:.

Good, Vital fresh blood, a rock masterpiece and a bridge in the legacy of GNR.

Keeping everything afloat.

Now, a CD-2 done with Slash and Duff would be a very good move for GNR.

Continuing their moves and momentum in all the right directions.

Exactly. Of course GNR is growing.

GNR is simply picking up where they left off,

in conquering the world.

😃 With Frank and Fortus it will still sound like SHIT. Gimme Dave Grohl on every track. Background and drums and it will be good SHIT

Fun fact: I care so little about this period of the GNR that I've never heard their covers of Black Hole Sun, Wichita Lineman or Wish You Were Here.

BHS is terrible. I think the original song is one of he best "alt"-rock songs of the 90's, but Axl should've picked another song as a tribute... Rusty Cage or Outshined or an earlier song, or Big Dumb Sex lol (which was already released on a GNR record) or you know, just stop playing "tribute " cover songs after a few shows.... but hey what do i know....

Wichita suits Axl's terible Mickey voice nowadays although it's a god awful song itself

Wish You Were Here was a guitar "duet" between 4tus and Slash. No vocals. It was their " bonding" song therefore it remained as a staple

I can't stand Black Hole Sun. It's an overplayed turd.

You can't stand it because it's overplayed not because it's a bad song....

I can't stand PC or NR either but it doesn't meant they are shit songs

you are probably in the 1-2% of the entire music listener human population who can't stand BHS, imho

BHS is amazing song

My favorite is acoustic version, just Chris and acoustic guitar, beatiful

GNR version is just terrible

Axl sounds like shit and it’s one of the most disrespectful “tribute” covers I have ever seen.

Guitar sounds messy, Richard’s solo is not that good at all, frank sucks and backing vocals also suck.

Disrespectful  is the best word to describe this atrocity of a cover

It's both. Boring pile of wank.

Agreed. Nothing melody, dull repetitive chorus and what the fuck are the lyrics supposed to be?! Some 15-year old's world salad poem who thinks he's being profound? It's meaningless drivel. Makes Cobain sound like William Blake.
