Salsh Borski 1,770 Report post Posted October 11 Interesting. I like em all, but for me it’s the Stooges. The shorts that is, the movies after Curly and Shemp died were rather tedious. Btw... Shemp was the greatest Stooge no matter what anyone says!!! Did you guys see the Stan and Ollie movie? Thoughts?

maynard 4,881 Report post Posted October 14 This black and white stuff give me the creeps. Same for those old Walt Disney movies. I feel really uncomfortable... but I'm sure there's some good stuff in there. Do Naked Gun, Hot Shots and similar movies (from the 80s and 90s) count as slapstick? Those are my favorites. sixes 3,495 Report post Posted October 14 The Ritz Brothers were fantastic too. Not necessarily slapstick but comedy geniuses nonetheless

It demands you to pay attention to it and it completely pays off. English is not my first language so it's good to rewatch it, there's always something new I can pick up. I just created this super nostalgic HD with Police Squad, Seinfeld, early Simpsons and da Ali G show (kinda hit or miss but Borat is genius). I am a sucker for 80s/90s comedy.
