A positive of my girlfriend cheating on me and breaking up with me last weekend is these lyrics have meaning to me, so that's cool.

I freakin' hate when people try to go Hard School on me.

Are we 100% certain that Trigglypuff wasn't MSL in drag?

Yes, MSL has bigger “fat” tits, and he wouldn’t exert that much energy.

I think the little bluesy intro before it is a bit out of place, but it's a pretty solid tune.

Yeah I like to skip the first 30 secs and start from when the drums stArt kicking in

The intro kinda just doesn't belong. That's pretty much what he was going for with Chinese though; bigger, grander, too much bullshit going on. Sometimes it works - November Rain for example, and other times it doesn't. Chinese Democracy, TWAT come to mind, where the intro is just too much.

If you start Hard School at The 26 Second point, I think that works.

I hadn’t listened to the songs for about a week.

Last night I slipped the CD in.

I know a lot of you will disagree. But I found myself really digging it.

Grace. Perhaps. Atlas. Hardschool. I would be 1,000 percent happy if the next album is full of 12 songs just like these four.

Its hard fo describe. But to me they seem more “fun” or interesting than the CD songs.

Probably because they've yet to have 5 other songs pasted over top of them... these songs can actually breathe and they sound like a proper band. These versions haven't been tinkered with for several years.

I think Atlas is probably the weakest of the bunch, but I'm still really glad we got to hear the early versions of it... I can easily imagine Bumblefoots tone meandering through the song, ripping the soul out of it like he did with Catcher...
