Jodie (played by Anna T Schlegel) is the main character of the independent movie PIG HAG

 

A review on  Thefilmstage.com describes the movie as "equal parts cruel and sympathetic", a "fascinatingly polarizing film by design; on one hand, it’s a cruel, tough love tale (...) On the other hand, it cruelly mocks (Jodie's) inability to compromise"

 

The same review states that the film leads the viewer "to believe Jodie and Dustin have a happy ending" before evolving towards "a more realistic and devastating conclusion"
