Long piece chronicling the history and future of Chinese Democracy

The recipe for Axl is simple and unique. Do as Aerosmith did.

Hire two good composers who create 4 hits per disc, fill each disc with 6 experiments, and cast videos from those 4 hits.

I remember Axl had beef with Billboard from the 90s. He did the Slash is a cancer interview with them after CD came out. So this article seems to be really making for all that. It seems to set up Slash and Duff playing on CD II. GNR seem to have a PR company working for them.

May playing on 2 1/2 tracks, recording the Shaq rap thing.

I sort of want 2 discs of the chicken coup sessions.

1991 - Illusions (2 albums)

Four albums in five years.

Imagine if Axl had kept the pace for one more cycle. Then mellowed out with one album every 3-4 years.

Imagine having 15 GnR albums in your cd collection.

I think once I counted the tracks and because Zepp released 9 track albums both bands have released the same amount of tracks.

Led 1 and 2 = 20 tracks approx = AFD and Lies

Led 3,4, Houses = 30 tracks approx = UYI 1 and 2

Physical = CD

Then there’s Presence/ In and Out = CD II or whatever.

So it’s close.

GNR maybe should of split up there releases. UYI could have been 4 cds if you mix in Spag inc.

Should HAVE.  I fucking recoil every time I read someone write "should of" instead of "should've" or "should have."

Same with how every retard on the planet thinks "lose" is spelled "loose."

I guess in a few decades, it won't matter.  We'll all be speaking a hybrid of hillbilly, valley girl, inner city slang, and various grunts.

I’ve never noticed that or thought that before. I’m not sure if it’s british thing or just a typo.

Never seen the loose lose thing before.

It must be from the sound of the words. I’m not sure how much I do that but it something to watch out for.

Typing on my phone my sentence construction has gone down.

Seems like it’s not about speaking but writing. People don’t read or write as much, writing emails or posts is a sort of abbeviated language. It’s like a vicious cycle. It’s replaced talking. It’s writing in speaking style. You don’t have time to edit or check.

What’s coming might be talking that gets turned into text. My friend has an app that if you photograph english it translates it into chinese.

People arent even texting. I see people talking into their phones. Like short audio messages. Back and forth.

Zepp put out records that were 9 tracks. So UYI was 3 records worth of material.

Lies is a Zepp length album.

Zepp still put more music in a shorter time period though. But once both bands are over they released the same amount of music.

You skipped Zep albums to present fake news. This isn't the first time you've done this.

I haven’t listened to those albums so they don’t count.

No I Presence and IN outdoor = CD II.

My point is 64 to 87 isn’t that big a deal anyway. Throw Spaghetti Incident in there if you want.

Guns are nowhere near DC or Stones. But they close to Zepp or Doors.

The point is you can e a legendary band with 64 songs.

Basically GNR need one more cd of material to be legit winners.

Coda isn’t really a real album either. Guns could still do something like this. Just scrape up all those Lost Illusions and CD outtakes after CD II is out maybe one last album.

Sex Pistol are legendary band they have 3 somgs.

Maybe GNR are the Sex Pistols of the 90s and CD is their Great Rock N Roll Swindle?

87 is over 35% more than 64. That is significant by any measure.

And as far as saying some Zep albums don't count, CD doesn't count. No one considers CD as a "legendary GNR" release. It's an Axl release.

I am now prepared for you to move the goalposts again.

Like I said Guns need at least 1 more cd to really achieve some sort of parity.

They are 20 songs short. Let’s go for 12 more songs. We are talking about Zepp.

I think 64 is enough if we're talking about legendary status. "Legendary" isn't about how many songs you have. It's about your band's impact on the music and entertainment world. I'll have to check with the IBO to make sure, but I'd say that GNR is now objectively legendary.

Yeah I think so.

If you add Shadow of your Love it’s 65.

I’m throwing Coda out the window. At least two of the songs are re-records and there’s a drum solo

track.

So Zepp are down to 79.

That’s more like 20%?

So a 14 track cd from GNR is all I need to win this thread.
