aka Checkmate aka Jackie Chan

This track was started in 1994 with Duff, Slash, Paul Huge, etc.

The version that leaked recently is from the 1999 Sean Beaven sessions.

Bumblefoot also worked on it in 2006.

I recently heard all of these June leaks in the sound of my car ... and ...
everything sounds awful. I'd rather listen to AFD demos.

Recently? "Checkmate" leaked years ago...

Are you referring to "The General" clip?

While I like hearing about unheard songs, still being a sad case when it comes to ChiDem era stuff, anybody can say such vague stuff tbh.

Regarding Thyme:

Tommy (remember him?) worked on it in 2005.

The rough idea came together after Bucket joined.

One of those wolf puppies shat all over the lyric sheets and Chris tried to record the sound of it happening.

Brain said it has a 'Suck your ball sack bridge' as an insider joke to what happened to Axl in the vocal booth when recording.

There are drums

...yeah that wasn't vague but it's easy to imagine the sessions going down like that

Why they left this one off CD is beyond me.

It's the rocker that disc was missing

Because all rockery aside, Axl's vocals were weak as shit. Full blown Mickey. Sounded like he got the god awful fat Axl voice in 99
