Appetite for Destruction Super Deluxe Edition Leaks Discussion Thread

Recommended Posts

Well, they're all losing their shit over at mygnr.

One poster said about how he was "in awe" of GNR today. In awe of a tarted up 30yr old demo of a song that was only ever mediocre to begin with? Wow. GNR fans have reached new lows of desperation.

If they had just been cool and actually included GOOD stuff that we know exists, I'd have been willing to pay for it.  Not a fucking GRAND like they're asking, but I'd have spent a hundred or two if it was a truly comprehensive set.

This bullshit?   I'm gonna torrent the shit out of it.

Fernando GNR is just horrible at running his business.

Great band. Terrible business.

Consistently terrible.

Why isn't it a limited edition, numbered set?

Where is this shit that this costs so much? It's £170 is it not?

Nah, the huge box is 999 dollar, I believe.

But you also have a deluxe edition, which is smaller. Think I will buy that one

Presumably the released Shadow Of Your Love is one of the Sound City sessions? If the quality is anything to go by, that's good going. I mean it's still shit, obviously, there are like three or four worthwhile tracks, but in typical Guns N' Roses fashion, it's better than nothing. Actual quality versions of acoustic November Rain, Jumpin' Jack Flash, and the likes, is great, but five discs and repetition is unnecessary. But hey, if people wanna pay for it. I'll happily scoop it all up and probably not listen to most ofit. It seems bizarre they're only chucking on an instrumental of Ain't Going Down as well, shit.

I agree.

Seeing the songs, it’s definately not worth paying 999 dollar. 999 is ridiculous, way too expensive.

I do like the smaller box enough to want it though. Since it is my birthday soon, my family can buy that one for me.

They should be rewarded for leaving Just Another Sunday out.

In 10 years they'll release a super deluxe extra platinum set, including that one, crash diet, 7 unheard versions of anything goes and one of the big guns Going Down, in memory of Tommy de la rosa Stunson.

Obviously they'll save better remixes with assba and bbc and the rest of the big guns to another chance.
