Is there any reasoning with Conspiracy Theorists or should we just give their idiocy a pass?

Damn Smooth, do you believe what happened in Las Vegas was staged by the government in order to take your guns away?

You think I have answers? I only have questions. I have no idea what happened in Vegas, I just don't believe that the official story holds water.

You can call me all the names you want but you still have to live life every day with a government watching you. Sucks to be you, doesn't it?

Not at all. I get to come here and make autistic bitches like you throw little temper tantrums and wish they could have someone else fight their battles for them because they don't have any balls, much less the ones required to handle things themselves. Life couldn't be better.

Question though. With your mom courageously fighting cancer and proving that cowardice doesn't run in the family, how does she feel about her little hermaphrodite bitch of a son trying to hide behind other people?

@8==D That's right, be a good little bitch and run along now. See you tomorrow when your schizophrenic ass forgets about today's humiliation and tries again. It's been fun.

Is it possible for you to accept that a mentally ill person decided to commit a horrific act of violence for some unknown reason that would only make sense to that person?

Yes, when the evidence points to that happening. For instance, I have no questions about the Batman shooting.

I just despise anti-government whackos like him. Always have, always will.

What does that exactly mean by the way?

I mean if Killary was elected, you'd be the first to join Damn_Smooth's imaginery* guerilla army :smugpepe:

*he clearly stated he did not want anybody to follow him, so i'm just using it as an example about how you just using words you can hardly know. I do not fully agree with him either, but let's face it, you can't win this back and forth even though anarchy really doesn't work, imho

I think you've been fooled by randomness and confirmation bias. Why do you question the Vegas High Roller and not the Batman? Is it because the Batman looked more obviously insane from the outside?

In regards to Vegas, when eyewitnesses are claiming multiple shooters and disappearing or dying mysterious deaths at young ages, I have questions. When they won't reveal any sort of evidence that an old man brought an arsenal to a hotel, I have questions. When people experienced with firearms claim that bump stocks can't fire the way those guns fired, I have questions. I just have a lot of fucking questions.

I think it is better to wait till the police have finished conducting their investigation. I also don't hold eye witness testimony that highly. Eye witnesses are historically unreliable. In fact, I've been an unreliable eye witness, and experienced first hand what it's like to witness an intense situation.

Details?

Whatever he saw, it was definitely a false flag.

Must've been, they convinced him that he didn't see it. :shrugs:

Remind me why they should be trusted again?

Just in case you don't like the source (which I just grabbed from the first result of a Google search), every one of them can easily be researched yourself. And there's more, but this is good enough to make my point.

I witnessed a crackhead attack a bus driver after he somehow jumped through the driver side window in an attempt to takeover the bus. This guy was on a one man crime spree. We were the second bus he tried to takeover. He also tried to get into a few people's cars when they were stopped at lights. His night ended a few hours later while attemting to break into someone's place.

I think this is true in general, and it applies just as much to your average liberal, conservative, libertarian, socialist, or whatever as it does to a conspiracy theorist.

So, what did you think you saw that you didn't see? Did anybody else share your hallucination? Huge difference between one person seeing something and multiple people seeing the same thing.

If we interpret the word "conspiracy" to mean intentional deception/lies/coverups by a group or an entity, then yeah there are legit conspiracies everywhere.  The "heart attack gun" shouldn't be a surprise to anyone, and was likely invented for what was believed to be the best interests of the country.  The asbestos coverup is a lot more common than we realize, companies that put profit ahead of consumer safety.  I personally know of a few nonviolent conspiracies which I will not discuss.  Where you lose me, and many others, is when theorists claim that literally every tragedy is either the result of a governmental conspiracy or was faked as part of a governmental conspiracy.  When you've got parents being told that their kid didn't really die in Sandy Hook and are being accused of helping fake their kid's death, that goes way beyond crossing the line.

When you think about it, conspiracy theorists who claim the government is behind every tragedy are themselves participating in conspiracies.  They are either conspiring to discredit the government by blaming them for everything, or they are conspiring to cover up real conspiracies by crying wolf at every opportunity.

There was only two other passengers on the bus at the time. It wasn't so much that I saw something that wasn't there. It was more like my recollection of what I saw was off. Even though I saw the attacker close up (as I helped throw him off the bus) I couldn't accurately describe him, and I thought he was in his 50's when it turned out he was in his mid to late 30's.
