The Dems have completely lost the plot. I have voted Dem or 3rd party almost exclusively (voted for McCain in a primary) my whole life, but 2016 to 2020 radicalized me against these sleazy, lying

The convention is a week away and Biden hasn't announced a running mate yet despite saying he would in the first week of the month. He's also said he's not even gonna be at the convention. I know I already said it, but it bears repeating: There have been third party/independent candidates who ran just for a laugh that managed their campaigns better than this. Christ alive, Joe Exotic took his campaign more seriously. Side note: For awhile Joe Exotic was the first thing suggested when you searched "Joe," despite Biden being the nominee by that point. He might still be, I dunno. Anyways, there is no presidential campaign I can think to compare this to, but I did finally recall a senate election that was similar to this.

To make a long story short, basically a guy who was probably retarded managed to get the Democratic nomination over a better known guy, despite not having much of a campaign (next to no funding, no campaign site, nothing), and the dude then goes on to not attend the convention and not take his subsequent general election campaign serious. Explanations about why this happened range from electoral fraud, to African Americans voting for him because his surname was common among African Americans in the state, to people voting for him because his name was the first one on the ballot, picked because the race wasn't considered winnable anyways. I can't say for sure which it is but if I had to venture a guess, I'd say it was number three because it's the most stupid and therefore the most likely.

"Greene has been called an enigmatic figure in American politics. He is known for his "strange, well-documented behavior on the campaign trail." In a June 2010 interview, CNN's Don Lemon asked Greene about his mental state and cognitive ability."

"Much attention was devoted to Greene's manner of speaking due to his habits of frequently interrupting himself, halting in mid-sentence, and saying "OK" between statements. At times, his jokes were not well understood by the media, such as when he told British newspaper The Guardian that one way to create jobs was to employ people to make toys in his likeness. A study by the Pew Research Center released in late July 2010 found that Greene's campaign had received the most media attention of all of the 2010 political campaigns."

"The day after the primary election, the media reported that Greene was facing felony obscenity charges stemming from a November 2009 arrest for allegedly showing a pornographic picture on an Internet site to an 18-year-old female University of South Carolina student in a computer lab and allegedly saying, "Let's go to your room." Greene refused to bow out of the race, asserting that "the Democratic Party has chosen their nominee, and we have to stand behind their choice. The people have spoken. We need to be pro-South Carolina, not anti-Greene.""

So yeah, basically we're seeing this on a national scale. I'm still a bit salty we won't see a Trump-Sanders debate, but at least the hilarity that has been this election season has mostly made up for it. Gonna be great to see Biden getting in his own way in the debates, and how his supporters will jump through hoops to say he did a wonderful performance. Bring it on. I'm ready for the gritty, political reboot of Grump Old Men. My only suggestion is that we get Leslie Nielsen to play Biden. Yeah I know he's dead, which is why he's perfect for the role.

Occupy wallstreet "vets" (lol) are planning a new protest called Occupy the White House.

Starts September 17th.

I can't wait. The Secret Service aren't going to let these fucks turn D.C. into Portland.

The wailing hysteria is going to be fun.

I was just watching this press conference.

They pulled out Trump real quick, but didnt say anything. Then all the reporters gathered round the windows taking pictures.

Does it annoy the other races that the media acts as if blacks are the only other race in America other than whites? I often read complaints about how this show or that movie doesn’t have any or enough blacks in it. What about the natives, asians, and latinos? I’m just saying.

And gingers. They got the boot off The Little cock sucking Mermaid of all things in favor of progress quotas.

That's why Biden's support with Hispanics is so soft right now and it is why Republicans need to capitalize on this. The immigration issue is the biggest obstacle that stops Hispanics from being a massive Republican voting block. Getting past that issue could help turn historically red states like Nevada, Colorado, and New Mexico that have gone blue back to red.

Hispanics and blacks tend to dislike one another for the very reason you stated. Hispanics always feel like blacks get all the attention and support, while they are ignored. Remember when BLM was burning Minneapolis, it was Hispanics and Hispanic street gangs siding with the cops to go after the rioters.
