Blizzard of Ozz, Diary of a Mad Man, No Rest For the Wicked, No More Tears and Ozzmosis are Ozzy`s best albums. LZ IV ahead of Houses of the Holy and Physical Graffiti ? holy shit.

Michael Jackson:

1. Thriller

2. Dangerous

3. Off the Wall

4. Bad

5. History

6. Invincible

7. Blood on the Dance Floor

HIStory deserves to be a lot higher. It's his best album imo. So many great tracks, Little Susie, TDCAU, Earth Song, Tabloid Junkie, Money, SIM, the title track...

And Invincible is better than a lot of fans give it credit for. YRMW, Unbreakable, Speechless, Whatever Happens and Heaven Can Wait are all top drawer MJ if you ask me.

I would rank the albums:

1. History

2. Dangerous

3. Bad

4. Invincible

5. Thriller (to me, this album is all about Billie Jean, Beat It and Startin' Somethin'. The album tracks are pure cheese and overrated imo)

6. Off The Wall

7. Blood On The Dancefloor (love the 5 new tracks, ranks lowly because of the shitty remixes)

I'm unfairly biased towards Thriller because it's basically the album that got me into music. Billie Jean and Beat It are two of my favorite songs ever. WBSS, Human Nature and PYT are great. The only song on it that I don't find memorable is The Lady In My Life.

History is really on and off for me. There are a lot of great songs (Moscow, YANA, TDCAU, Earth Song, TabIloid Junkie, but nothing as good as Billie Jean/Beat It) and a lot of terrible ones (2 Bad, This Time Around, DS, Childhood, etc.). Nothing on Thriller is as bad as any of these. I'm also not huge on Scream, Little Susie, Come Together or History.

There are some genuinely great moments on Invincible but I find that most of the songs that could have been good suffer from bad production. Unbreakable, Heartbreaker, YRMW, Speechless are my picks from that one.

The only song from BOTDF that I'd listen to today is the title track. Maybe Morphine if I'm in a real MJ mood. Is It Scary and Ghost are god awful.

I've never seen anyone describe Is It Scary and Ghosts as "awful" before. Two brilliant songs imo.

And Morphine is probably up there with Who Is It and Billie Jean in being the best thing he's ever done.

Just a shame he didn't have another five tracks to make BOTD a full album, but as it stands, I just consider it to be a killer EP.

Oh and I love DS. Slash's solo is awesome on that one and MJ sounds so pissed. Sure the chorus is a bit repetitive but you can really jam out to it if you're in the mood.

And I love it when MJ does the dog impressions after he sings "he's just a dog."

He should've just put BOTDF and Morphine on History in place of Childhood and This Time Around. Would've made a big difference.

Listening to invincible right now. Heartbreaker is as catchy as I remember it being. Speechless might be the cutest song ever.

Rank these 3 bands in relation to each other:

Nirvana, Radiohead and R.E.M.

Radiohead

Nirvana

REM

All great, and I'd put the best of REM up with the best of the other two, but REM has more misses.

Kurt died. Perhaps that's why Radiohead is on top. We'll never know.
