  1. Think about it - Every decade has seen Guns N' Roses release a definitive statement. The Eighties gave us Appetite for Destruction and GN'R Lies The Nineties saw Use Your Illusion I & II and also The Spaghetti Incident. The 00's saw the release of Chinese Democracy. Sometime in the next two-and-a-half years, most likely in November 2018, we will hear Axl's statement on the Trump era. An instant future classic, "Michigan Earthquake," or whatever they call it, will be another experience, as different from Chinese Democracy, as ChiDem was from Use Your Illusion. Never Give Up -Axl Rose.

Now, there is one band, that my friend told me to check out on Spotify called Pure Lust and I do have to say, for me, as a modern band they stack up, but I am wondering what decent modern rock bands are out there. Please can you guys let me know your thoughts on any good modern bands as I am keen to hear more music? Here is a link to Pure Lust:
  4. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R4wpROf0p2Y I really don't know what I can say about Guns N Roses debut album that hasn't been said a million times before. They erupted onto the music scene with a record that sounded so real, not polished, just pure, loud, heavy rock and roll. As a young guitarist, I dreamed of playing like Slash, and now here's my chance!
