Axl should have just hired a guy who fit with the band musically and image wise. Lame to hire him and make him not be himself, though as an old school gunner, I don't want to see a flying bumblebee foot guitar on stage any more than I want to see a KFC bucket on anybody's head. I'm sure there are plenty of guitarists out there who can play gnr songs without the anti rock star gimmickry.1 like
