"One of Axl's oldest tattoos proclaims "Victory or Death." He would rather die than admit that he needs Izzy & Slash, etc.

"What’s clear is that one of the two of us will die before a reunion and however sad, ugly or unfortunate anyone views it, it is how it is."

This is Axl's pickle in a nutshell.

The dude can't win, either way, maybe that's why he always seems so miserable and reluctant to do ANYTHING." John Bonham @ Gunsnfnroses.com

Axl's not going to "sing" live on TV.

Just an interview.

My bet is it will be an interview where he places so many rules on what he will talk about that it tells us basically nothing just like the TMS Eddie Trunk interview.............

No new songs
No news on a new album
No new anything

Just Axl doing the same canned interviews with nothing of substance...

Look at what the guy has reduced his fans to.....He is doing an interview and everyone is salivating like Pavlov's dog like this will be any different then the past 16 years...

My bet is that he is going to announce that after the Vegas shows, GNR is disbanding.

Didn't Kimmel have an Axl imitator come on to surprise Slash when he was on a while back? Doubt Axl will allow him to try anything that ballsy....but it IS live TV after all....

Well that should be exciting, can't wait to see what kinda questions Jimmy Kimmel will ask Axl

"It's horrible. It has nothing to do with music. I'm not trying to be bitter or cynical, but it's an ugly business. - Axl Rose on the music industry

Hey, he's doing what we've all been bitching at him for not doing. Credit where credit is due, hope it goes well.

Odds he wears a big hat and sunglasses with the handlebar stash and looks completely unrecognizable to the audience?

Nice to see he's doing something. However, it will be a very controlled interview.

"Since this is a new band", Rose, Axl 2001

It's a figure of speech in regards to the lineup change, not to be taken literallly. Just something you say. He clearly didn't mean it in a literal sense, otherwise he wouldn't have kept the name since he is the owner of it. Even if he had, it's irrelevant.
